Philippa Mbonye is a Management Consultant by profession, and currently Chief Operating Officer at Nakasero Hospital. Nakasero Hospital is an 80-bed private hospital in Kampala, founded by a group of Senior Consultants in 2009.

Philippa holds a post-graduate certificate in Healthcare Management from Strathmore Business School (Kenya), an Msc. in Economics from The University of Edinburgh (Scotland – UK) and Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management Information Systems from Carleton University (Ottawa – Canada).

She has held Management Consultant positions with Financial Institutions in Canada and Scotland – Office of the Superintendant for Financial Institutions of Canada, and the Royal Bank of Scotland and professional consulting firm Price Waterhouse Coopers. She is a board member of CVAP – the Concordia Volunteer Abroad Program, a non-profit organization located in Montreal, Canada and Gulu, dedicated to social justice and community empowerment through education and volunteerism.
