UHF is aimed at promoting and enhancing medical care in Uganda with emphasis on the provision of affordable and accessible quality healthcare on a sustainable basis.
To bring all private sector stakeholders under one body for the purpose of advocating policy change, promoting and championing the interests of the private health sector.
UHF was established out of need to have an umbrella organization which represents the entire private health sector and champion for its interests.
