17th May 2024 – Self-care Multi-Sectoral Sub Committee Meeting, Fairway Hotel Kampala, Uganda. Ministry of Health in partnership with the Uganda Healthcare Federation established a structure to steer and oversee efforts by the various stakeholders to promote self-care in the public and private sectors. The stakeholders from various sectors are critical to the successful scale up of self-care interventions in Uganda, with UHF serving as the secretariat. Cognisant of the important role of various stakeholders in streamlining the institutionalizing self-care reflective interventions, the Ministry of Health positions self-care on top of government, civil society, community and private sector agendas.
