Professor Frank (Rich) Feeley gave a presentation on the difficulty of regulating prices in the healthcare market and below is the presentation slides.
Professor Frank (Rich) Feeley was an associate professor of Global Health at Boston University, and managed publicly funded health insurance and regulation of health providers in the United States.
He worked on problems of health financing an management in more than 25 developing and transitional countries, development and evaluation of treatment arrangements, participated in private sector assessments and recently consulted with World Bank on the feasibility of public private partnerships to run selected services in new hospitals being built in Uganda.
He has also addressed health systems and health regulation issues in various countries and consulted with the Council of Europe to help assess risks of corruption in the health sector
